August 13th, 2006 We just played our first show at Shawbucks and it was a huge success. With an estimated crowd of about 350 people on an off-season night we made our own personal history. I would like to say thank you to every person that has helped this project along wether it be a musician, friend, artist, family member, writer or fan...Thank You. August 23rd, 2006 There has been a change in the lineup. Chris Saxton will be replacing Scott Tota on guitar. Chris has worked with members of Graphite through the last 15 years and is very excited to be joining us. Our first show with Chris will be on Sat. Oct. 7th @ Rockin Rick's in Limestone, NY. with special guest "Brokenfall". I hope to see you all there. September 2nd, 2006 Graphite's song "Breathe" is now #5 on Garageband with a perfect 5.0 rating and is already #50 of all-time. July 11th, 2006 Graphite will be posting "Breathe" on www.Garageband.com for reviewing. Check it out! Garageband offers music lovers the ability to listen to some of the best unsigned artists from literally all over the world. It's a great way to find some very talented musicians in any genre that you can't hear on the radio or see on TV - yet. Songs submitted by artists are reviewed by the general public and can climb the GarageBand charts. Graphite's "Shallow" went as high as #2 on the Progressive Rock charts and won over 20 awards! June 6st, 2006 It's official! Graphite Symphony's first show will be on August 12th of 2006 at Shawbucks in Jamestown, NY. We will be playing two long sets with a mix of great covers and Graphite originals. History will be made at 10:00 that night so I expect to see you all there. May 12th, 2006 Well everyone this is the day we've all been waiting for, Graphite Symphony's first official practice as a live band. It has a line-up consisting of Jim Cheronis (Lead Vocals and Harmonica) Anthony Brown (Keyboards and Vocals) Scott Redfield (Guitars and Vocals) Scott Tota (Lead guitars and Vocals) Darrin Payne (Drums and Vocals) and Mike Buffone (Bass). Graphite Symphony finally has the musicians and vocal ability to put it on the Stage. Thank you all for being patient over the last six years. September 29th, 2004 The song "Shallow" has been climbing up the charts on Garageband.com with a 5.0 star rating. Not to mention winning 18 awards in its first week. Some of the awards included "Track of the Day Sept. 30th", "#1 Best Production overall" (over 7500 songs in all the different genres), "#1 Most Original overall", "#3 Best Male Vocals overall", and "#23 Best Keyboards in Hard Rock of all-time" (over 7400 songs). Track of the Day on 30 Sept, 2004September 29th, 2004 We're happy to announce or first vocal rehearsal this evening Between Jim Cheronis, Anthony Brown, Scott Redfield and new member Darren Payne. Darren will be playing guitar and keyboards and also adding to the vocals. By the end of the month We will be rehearsing as a full band with additional members Scott Franklin (drums) Phil Brown (bass) and Joe Dalimonte (lead guitar). September 20th, 2004 The website has been redone by Alan Brown and is looking great as usual. You can visit Alan’s website at Alanebrown.com or click on his logo. We will be adding the new members of Graphite Symphony to the website as we get the information from them. July 28th, 2004 Graphite Symphony is putting together their live show that will consist of 7 members. Rehearsal is starting in a few weeks and should be pretty interesting. June 12th, 2004 Graphite Symphony released their 3rd CD called “The 9th Cycle” At Ralph E’s in Warren, Pa. December 8th, 2003: Graphite Symphony has been working on its 3rd CD this past year. Almost all the music is finished for it but it has been delayed until spring as I am working on another project called 9th Cycle with Richie Lee Alcorn and Scott Redfield, which I am also very excited about. We have all the preliminary tracks recorded for the music and are getting ready to finish off the rest. We will start recording the vocals sometime in January and hope to have the CD out by May. I will get you some sound clips shortly. As for the 3rd Graphite Symphony CD I’m hoping for fall and will also get you some sound clips from that.
